Wow talk about trying to find a way out of a rabbit hole!
My daughter asked me on the way home from the store today how many days until Jesus birthday.
Well I go threw the whole thing about how Christmas is not Jesus birthday but a day that we set aside to try and tell the lost world about Jesus and how he came to die on the cross for their sins.
She understood about that and how we really don't know when His birthday is because the bible never tells us.
Then she was going threw the story and how Mary was his mom and Joseph was his dad.
Great now I had to explain to her how Joseph was not his real dad but just his stand in dad.
Yeah try explaining how God came down and made Mary have a baby and all that good stuff to a five year old without explaining all the other stuff he he.
It was a very interesting conversation.
I am so not looking forward to when she is old enough to understand.
Then of course she later ask me if bunny's can lay eggs!
You don't even want to hear about that one!
