New Baby!

I know that it’s been so long since I have set down to take the time and write or Blog as it’s called.
I got very exciting news today about a new arrival in the family. My nephew is on his way this Wednesday! Little Ben I am very excited and very scared for my sister and pray that all goes well. I remember not to long ago at six in the morning I was walking into the hospital to be induced. At that time I was eight days over due and I was very ready to go. My boss at work asked me every day if I was going to have a Cracker Barrel delivery (I worked and worked but no baby came) and also how long I was going to stay gone after I had the baby.
I wanted to be brave as I stood there checking in trying to remember what year I was born in and all those crazy questions that they ask you.
I will never forget when they started pumping me with that horrible stuff that makes you want to take a knife and deliver the baby your self. I wanted to be brave and go natural. I tried to walk down the hall but every minute I was breaking for a contraction, Michael had now learned by this time that when I am in pain don't talk, breath, or move. I gave up after about two hours of pain that no one should go threw. I said the magic words. "GIVE ME DRUGS" every one should do it! After that I sat there and watched TV. And talked on the phone to the many people that wanted do know how I was doing. I also had a visit from my pastor and his wife. He asked a very good question as she watched the nurse come in and check my print out from the computer screen. “Wow it looks like you are having quite a few contractions does it hurt"
I smiled and said " Are you kidding I don't feel anything" and I didn’t it was great. The doctor thought that I was great when it came time to push and I smiled the whole way.
I just pray that Jana has as good a time as I did. I know they say after your third it gets easier....I am not sure that applies to all child birthing though so we will pray every thing goes just perfect!
I read The "Boss Lady" and it made me laugh at the fact that when I was little I was very whiney and now its come to bite me in the B...
