An economics professor at a local college made a statement that he had never fai...led a single student before, but had recently failed an entire class. That class had insisted that Obama's socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer. The professor then said, "OK, we will have an experiment in this class on Obama's plan". All grades will be averaged and everyone will receive the same grade so no one will fail and no one will receive an A.... (substituting grades for dollars - something closer to home and more readily understood by all). After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a B. The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy. As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too so they studied little. The second test average was a D! No one was happy. When the 3rd test rolled around, the average was an F. As the tests proceeded, the scores never increased as bickering, blame and name-calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else. To their great surprise, ALL FAILED and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great, but when government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed. It could not be any simpler than that. Remember, there IS a test coming up. The 2012 elections. These are possibly the 5 best sentences you'll ever read and all applicable to this experiment:
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it!
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that is the beginning of the end of any nation.

Breast-feeding versus Formula Feeding

Breast-feeding vs. formula is a subject that can be touchy for some people. Perhaps it’s
because they do not know how important knowing the difference is. Breast- feeding is far better than formula feeding. I will show you first how breast-feeding is more beneficial to the
child. I will also show how breast-feeding is more beneficial to the mother.
Finally, breast-feeding is more beneficial to your finances.

Some people say that formula feeding can be just as beneficial to the child as breastfeeding.
Some doctors encourage Formula feeding when the child has a health problem. Some benefits of formula are controlled feeding, controlled nutrition, and controlled steroids. If the mother is not a very healthy person and is breastfeeding then the child is not going to get the nutrition it needs. However if the child is on formula all of the vitamins and minerals are in the can. Formula can be beneficial to the child because it has the opportunity to bond with more people than just the mother. Anyone can make a bottle and feed the child. Now let us discuss why
breastfeeding is more beneficial than formula feeding.

To begin with, you rarely have cases of overfeeding with breastfed babies. This is not the case with formula-fed children. Many moms make a formula bottle for the baby just to get them to stop fussing. This does not help create the bond between mother and child. Then there
are some risks to the child. According to the Office of the Surgeon General, “The risk associated with some relatively rare but serious infections and diseases, such as severe lower respiratory infections and leukemia are also higher for formula-fed infants. The risk of hospitalization for lower respiratory tract disease in the first year of life is more than 250 percent
higher among babies who are formula fed than in those who are exclusively breastfed at least four months.4 Furthermore, the risk of sudden infant death syndrome is 56 percent higher among infants who are never breastfed” (U.S. Department of Health and Human Services,
2011). Breastfeeding is not only more beneficial to the child but also to the mother. Some people will say that formula feeding has more benefits to the mother. For instance it is very convenient. You do not have to worry about finding a place to feed when you are in public. Also formula can last for weeks in a can so you have the opportunity to stock up. Many moms also like formula because they do not have to deal with the pain that comes along with breastfeeding. However breast-feeding is much more beneficial to the mother.

The best part is you lose your post baby weight much faster than you do when you use formula.
The reason for this is that you can burn up to 500 calories in a day while nursing. Another reason is that it is very helpful to the mother because while you breastfeed you are encouraged to maintain a healthy diet. Eating right and exercising is good for you and the baby. When you are exercising and eating healthy then your child is too. Breast-feeding your child is the one thing that only you can do and it creates a special bond with mother and child. Those thirty minutes
every few hours that you spend with your child just cooing and rocking is the most amazing thirty minutes you can share. Female Intelligence Agency says that “Breastfeeding is a natural way of bonding with your child. Nursing and holding the child close causes the brain to release a hormone-like substance called oxytocin. Its release is especially pronounced with skin-to-skin
contact. This hormone has been called the "love hormone" or the "cuddle hormone" or the "bonding hormone". It provides a sense of calm and well-being and helps the mother and child to bond together. It is involved in those mothering feelings we experience after giving birth to
a child” (Female Intelligence Agency, 2012).
Another benefit to breastfeeding is you never have to worry about warming up a bottle.
You never have to worry about forgetting your boob when you go on a road trip. You don’t have to worry about spills and you never have to worry if you have enough formula to get you through the day. Your body creates the right amount every time.
Now the best part about breastfeeding, it is free. Breast feeding will help your finances. You don’t have to worry about the extra cost of formula. You spend enough on all the diapers, clothes, new furniture, and all the other little must have gadgets. Formula can be very expensive, whereas breast milk is free. If your child has a special condition and requires a special formula then it can cost you up to $30.00 a can. Most children go through one can of formula in a two to three day span. Sometimes they will go through more depending on age.
So to conclude I have shown you how breastfeeding is better than formula feeding. I
explained to you how breastfeeding is better first for the child. Next I showed you the benefits for the mother. Finally I showed financial benefits to breastfeeding. There is a reason why doctors call breast milk liquid gold. It is healthier, more convenient, and less expensive.
