"Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour." Matt 15:28
When I read the story of the woman from cannan I marvel at her faith. I think to myself "Do I have that kind of faith?"
"And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm." Matt 8:26
Then I read about how the Lord rebuked the deciples for not having enough faith.
When you think about it the woman from cannan did not follow the Lord around and see all the wonderful things that he did. But the deciples had.
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Heb 11:1
Just because you follow close to God does not mean you have great faith....
Its obvious that this woman from cannan had more faith than all 12 deciples put togeather because the Lord was always telling them "Oh ye of little faith"
Where are you in your christian walk?
Do you walk the walk and look the part but have no faith at all or do you accept the fact that you are a dog (like the cannan woman was told) and have Great Faith!

A huge pile of dirty bed sheets and towels, water bottles all over the house and Lysol in hand.
Three days of sickness and I feel like I have worked a 40 hour week.
It started with the poor Kaite bug but she seemed to kick it in about 12 hours then it hit me and I felt as if I would die for over 48 hours. Thank God for an amazing husband who will run to Kroger at midnight just to get his wife 7-up and Sorbet.
All this time the little master of the house has been running behind me at full force trying to help take care of myself and the others.
Michael got it on the last night and is starting to show some improvement, I think I can see him moving under the blanket.
All in all I must say I hope this is the first and last time my house gets sick. I know its crazy to think that way but hey there is no harm in wishing!

Coffee in hand and a smile on my face. Its going to be a beautiful day today and I am excited that I get to share it with my Lord.
As I sit here at my desk waiting on my two children to wake up and disturb my quiet time I am listing to my favorite music on Pandora and just thinking about the words to the songs.
"At the cross where I first saw the light."
Now I know why God said we need to sing praises to Him. It helps us to have a wonderful day.
I don't know who can listen to good Christian music and not be uplifted. I mean come on to hear Nicole C Mullins belt out I know my Redeemer lives. Just the thought that I, yes I can talk to the Redeemer when I want.
I want to make a goal and I pray that I can keep it to start every morning off with a good cup of coffee, wonderful songs to praise the Lord, and a good study in His word.
Now I know why God used David to calm Saul's evil spirit. Music has more affect on us then we think and maybe that's why our parents were so strict on what we listen to!
" Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises."
Ps 47:6
