Spring!

I love spring, it is probably my favorite time of the year. When I was a kid we had a road that led to town and when you went down it at the right time of year all the new leaves and the red bud trees would be in bloom and it was just the most amazing sight ever.

It makes me stop and think about how new life starts every year. Yes its true that allot of old life comes back. But every spring there is all kinds of new life. I love seeing little fawns in the field and beautiful flowers popping up along the road.

I must say that I don't think that anyone can or should be depressed in the spring time. Because if you are your just nuts. Hehe

You know a new Christian life is just like a spring flower. It opens up to see the Sun and the more sun and rain it gets the more it grows.

God is our sun and the bible is our rain. You need a daily dose of it to grow, and you know its not just the new flowers that bloom who need that rain and sun but its the old ones too, the ones that come back every year.

What are you? And old flower that needs some sun and rain to get yourself going in the new year, or are you a new flower that needs the sun and rain to help you grow.

What ever you might be you can never go wrong in getting your daily dose of the sun and rain.

Playing!

When I was a kid I used my imagination. That is probably something that most kids have no idea exist.
The imagination is something that you can use when you are playing with a big pile of sand and a few matchbox cars and soon you have a whole town built and even a sand McDonald's.
Don't get me wrong I don't have a problem with the DS or the T.V. in fact it comes in handy on a rainy day or just a lazy one. But I am disappointed in our youth now days.
I remember making paths threw the woods and building playhouses out of the chicken coop. I remember PLAYING.
So many kids today have no idea what that is anymore. They are too busy going from soccer to dance and then from there to go spending the night at a friends house.
People let your kid be a kid and play in the rain or in the woods. Enjoy your kids wile you can!
I am so glad that I have a beautiful child that knows how to use her imagination.
The other day in the car Kaite was talking to her fingers and they were saying.

"Your the ring finger" says the pinkie
" But I don't want to be the ring finger"
" But that's what you are"
"But I don't even like rings!"

I could not believe it, she was so cute! So please let your kids have just play time and enjoy their imagination.
