Five Days Of Christmas!

I am ever so happy that Christmas is over! I really don't feel bad either! Although it was a good one I am very exhausted and ready to get back to my normal routine of life!
Our Christmas started out great we had a great plan!
Michael and I both worked on Christmas Eve but we both got off work at one and had planed to meet at the house to load up the car and head out to my parents house.
Well I ended up saying at work until about one thirty and when I got off work I called Michael to see if he would get to Miss. Jens house (Katie's second mom) before I would. Well no luck there he had lost his car key!
No big deal I said you look for it and i will go pick Kaite up and meet you at the house and we will just leave a bit later! So I called mom and said well we won't get there until about three or four!
So after I had picked Kaite up and said my Merry Christmas to Jen and her family i was off again and called Michael to see where he was on the road!
Still no luck with the key! But I said no big deal I will load up my car and meet you at the Bank (His place of employment) and we will go from there!
So again I called mom and told her that we would be there around Five or later.
I must say that I hit the record for loading up presents and a three year old and packing (yes we did put off packing until the last minute) I did it all in thirty minutes! Yippee for me!
So Kaite and I are off again and its around two thirty.
About half way to the bank Michael called me and told me that he had found the key. It had fallen in the MULCH that morning I guess when he was walking in to work.
So I instructed him to run to Starbucks and Panara to buy gift cards for my little brother!
Yes not only had I put off packing I also had to finish shopping! I know I am terrible!
Finally I get to Montgomery and call Michael to see were he was, Kaite had already put in her lunch order for the golden arches so I told him we could meet at McDonald's, but I really did not want that. So he went to McDonald's and I ran to Quiznos.
So After a quick potty break and a drop of a car at the bank we were off again and on our way down to Indiana!
The traffic was really good and we were making great time! BUT....................I still had to stop at Wal-mart!
We ended up getting to mom and dads house around five thirty or later!
It was great to spend some time with mom, dad and Titus!
Then came Christmas morning! It was great!
Kaite bug woke up and was really ready to open her gifts but we told her that we had to wait until Uncle Titus got up to open them!
So as Dad and I prepared the turkey for its doom Kaite pestered Titus to wake up!
Opening presents was great! And i hope that every one liked what they got!
Around eleven the rest of the gang began to show up and hugs were given.
I decided it was time to give my siblings their Christmas gift!
" The fifteenth grandchild!"
I had told Mom and Dad the night before and had told the other sisters that were not going to be there by phone! Well those that called me back! ;)
Of course every one was happy, well at least they said they were but you know how that goes for our family! lol
But it ended up being a great Christmas day! How ever Michael and I were hardly done with Christmas!
So we left Dad and Mom's house and traveled back to ours. Kaite opened more gifts and I got to open mine from Michael!
Friday brought work for both Michael and I and we had planed on leaving after I got of work around nine that night to head down to London KY.
Work started out fine and on my lunch break that was supposed to be two hours ended up being hour and fifteen minuets! But I had to run to Dicks sporting goods to get Michael's last gifts!
Have you ever been shopping on the day after Christmas! Well I will just tell you that I stood in line for a half an hour! It was STUPID!!!!
So back to work and got blessed to get off work at eight and was home by eight thirty!
But still needed to stop and get gifts! So on our way out of town we hit Wal-mart, Taco bell, and UDF!
But we did make good time and hit London by 12:30 got to spend some time with Michael's sister who we were sharing a hotel room with and raided the snack machine a few times before heading off to bed!
Ahh the next morning brought biscuits and gravy and hot tea! It was great we took our time and enjoyed the company of family before heading off to Michael's Great Grandmas house to do more Christmas!
But yet again after finding out that I had bought the same gift for his cousin that every one else had I had to stop at WAL-MART!!!!!!!!!
Yes I know I should shop early and get it all done!
The day turned out great and we had allot of fun with the gifts and playing Michael's family traditional game rook!
So after the gifts had been opened and the turkey was gone we headed back to the hotel room for some sleep!
The next morning were were going to get up get ready and be on the road by eight so that we could make it to Michael's dads church for service!
It was a hectic morning but we ended up getting to Church on time and Michael's dad had fun announcing to the congregation that he had a new grand baby on the way!
So after Church we were all off again this time not only with Michael's sister but with his brother too! So here we go all three cars heading of to Nanny's house for yet another Christmas and more turkey!
We were all kinda sick of the stupid bird and were wondering if we should stop for Chinese! lo
Well to our surprise when we got there God love Nanny she had all kinds of finger food and only some turkey lunch meat! I was never so happy to see meatballs before!
More gifts and more hugs and more food! It was great and it was finally over!
We are now back home!!!!!
Thank God for your own privet home! It was a good Christmas but I am soooooo very happy that it is over! I am probably going to start shopping now for next year! lol

Merry Christmas!

Here I sit in my favorite chair with my feet propped up, stew simmering on the stove, my little girl quietly watching curious George and my fluffy Tiger billy at my feet!

Whew I am already ready for Monday (my Saturday) so I can hit the stores and get some shopping done!
Yes to all of you who are wondering if the Grinch got her heart, I finally did and the tree is up!
There is no red bow on the door yet but just because I have not found one that I like! I am very picky.
Kaitlynn had so much fun with the tree. I have a few spots on it that have about six to eight ornaments in one place. It took allot out of me not to move them all around after she went to bed.
I think that only reason I didn't is because she would have noticed! She is allot like me she pays attention to detail!

The Grinch!

Well my house is not decorated and my tree is not up! I feel like a complete Scrooge! I know its getting late into the Christmas season and I need to get on it! Believe it or not I still have a pumpkin on my front porch! I promise by the end of the week I will have my tree up and a red ribbon on my door!
Kaite an I have been sick for the past few days and to tell you the truth I have not felt like doing anything let alone dealing with a tree and all that stuff!
On Saturday I went over to a friends house after work and made fudge and hard candy! It sill did not put me in the mood for Christmas!
