Thanksgiving is now over and I have only one picture to show for the great time that we had down at Michaels dad's house! The picture was taken during a very intense game of phase 10. Jessie and I (my newest sister in law) were hoping wile they were on the phone talking to their brother and wishing him a happy Thanksgiving that we could get ahead or maybe pull a few tricks, it did not work how ever Timm ended up winning! We are still trying to deflate his head! hehe
I will say I can't wait until I can give all of these kittens away! They are enough to drive a nut crazy. Sure you may say "they are just cute little balls of fluff" well you should try doing the dishes with five balls of fluff running under your feet or having to tell Kaitlynn five hundred times " LEAVE THE BABIES ALONE!" They are her favorite thing to do. When she wakes up in the morning its always " I go see the babies?" I am very happy to say that I have all of them given away! Well all but the one that we are going to keep. I have decided to name him or her after a cat my sister had when we were little. I have yet to find out if its a boy or girl yet, but the name will be Tiger Billy or Tiger Lilly depending on its sex.
Another good thing that has been going on is that Kaitlynn is doing very well on her potty training. She wakes up dry and makes sure the gets to her potty in time so that she can get her reward. The only thing I have to help her with is pulling up her panties. It so cute after she gets done she tries some times to pull them up but most of the time she just yells " Mommy Hulp" hehe its so cute to hear some of her words. She picks up very fast and loves to repeat things that you say.
After reading my sisters post on her cold days it made me very thankful that I have a very warm house. Although I have no insulation in my house either I do have a great fire place. It does still get cold in the morning but its very comforting to know that a few extra logs will heat my small home back up in a jiff.
Kaitlynn and I put our Christmas tree up a few days before Thanksgiving. I am still waiting on employ appreciation days in December at Cracker barrel so that I can finish my decorating. I am thinking that maybe if I crowd my tree with other ornaments I can kind of hide the Star Trek ones that now decorate my tree. Every year I try and forget to put them on but every year my husband ( who is a very big star trek fan ) reminds me.
One day they are going to just disappear!
