They are here!

Well its happened. The baby kitty's were bore on Oct. 22. There were five and Delilah had them in about an hour and a half. She left them in a small box for a wile but then today when I cam home she apparently got sick of Katie going to see them and moved them to under the bed! I am hoping she moves them back to the soft box.
The wedding that I was kind of dreading is now over as well. It actually turned out pretty good. No one was fighting or anything like that. I was very surprised. Kaitlynn did a great job at walking down the isle and pulling the ring barer with her the whole time saying "go, go" it was very cute!
You know something I hate is some one who tries to convince you that you are wrong when you know your right. Saturday night after the wedding my mother and father in law along with Michael and myself and yes of course Katie went to Ruby Tuesdays to get something to eat. My father in law and Michael ordered the same thing, a 12 oz Ribeye and amazing enough when my father in law ordered it the waitress told him that it would be about twenty minutes because he wanted it well don't. Well we waited about a half and hour or more and when it came out. My husbands steak was well done (he ordered it medium) and my father in laws was about half the size it was supposed to be and the wrong steak. The server that was running the food tried to convince me that his steak was most defiantly a ribeye. It wasn't I happen to cook steaks for a living and I have never seen a ribeye that was solid meat! So I asked a friend of mine that used to be a butcher and he was like no ribeyes are a marble cut of meat! That made me even more upset! I hate people that try to convince you of something that you know your right on!

Hillbilly Kid!

Have you ever seen a Hillbilly kid before? Yeah well I guess that you don’t grow out of the hillbilly genes.
Katie I must say has a great imagination. As you can see in her picture she has a paper towel for her baby blanket. I must admit I used to do things like that as a kid. I remember playing cow boys and Indians with Titus and using towels for our blankets and tooth brushes for out razors. And trust me if you have ever scrubbed your face with a tooth brush it hurts!
The bad part about Katie’s paper towel blanket is she has a million blankets to play with. I guess that’s how it goes, you have a tone of toys to play with and you end up getting more fun out of the box it came in!

The circle of Life!

I got word today that my dog Salina went home to be with Nature. Yeah I know that you all thought that I was going to say to be with God right? There was a time that I thought that all dogs go to heaven. But that was when I was like 23 or something like that.
I remember the day that I got her the little, well she was kinda big. She was the biggest one of the litter and she was the last one left. I knew that I had found a friend when we were ridding home and she peed on me! Yeah that’s right I had a dog pee on me. Well I guess I have had a few things pee on me, kids, cats, dogs, mice before I smashed in their little heads. Hehe yeah I was the mouse killer at the day care that I worked at. After my sister left I had to step up and take her place. Hehe she knows what I am talking about!
You know kids amaze me sooo much, and I only have one! Some times you think that maybe they just don’t understand you when you are trying to get them to oh I don’t know maybe apologies to some one for something, but then when they turn to you and say sorry and can say sorry to every one but the person that they need to say it to!!!!!! Yeah I think they are smarter than they let on! I swear!
Katie now thinks that her daddy is COOL! Yeah I know why a two year old knows the word cool! Yeah well we were on our way to a friend’s house and I looked back at her sitting in her little seat and I asked her if she was ok. Something I do when we drive in the car. And she told me “ I want daddy” I was shocked because she usually loves to spend time with mommy, so I asked her “ do you love your daddy?” and she looked back at me and said “ Daddy cool” I could not believe it. So I had to get one the phone and call Michael so that she could talk to her COOL DADDY!
I guess she is over that mommy’s girl stage! Oh well I guess I will just have to try with the next one!

Oh yeah and look what I finally got! Hehe a maid that I don’t have to pay! That’s right. Now I know why mom had so many! lol

Where’s the beef

Hey all! You know I was actually surprised at the people that read my bog! Lol I really did not think that any one would stop by. I guess every one is curious to see who will be the first victim of my tongue! So sorry to disappoint you all! I am sure if you read long enough you will get to read something interesting! There is always something going on in the big family that we have! It may not always get talked about (around every one) but it is always talked about! Hehe, that’s the fun thing about family. You know I was told by a rather stupid person that real families don’t “Talk about each other” I just laughed and said oh you have NO idea! I know every one is thinking right now “Hmmmm is it I?” lol
On a lighter note I had a really amazing weekend. I got the chance to spend it with Michael’s Dad and step mom and we had a ball going to Lincoln days! Katie got to see military men and “Big trucks” as she says, in a parade. Michael’s dad was in a play and Katie actually did really good sitting and watching it. I was just nice to spend time with them.
I feel sorry for people that don’t have a good relationship with their in-laws. I have really been blessed when it comes to in-laws. I mean I do have like three father in-laws and two mother in-laws. That just means Katie gets more gifts! Hehe Yeah I know you all don’t think that carnal sorry you will have to pray for me!
We are still waiting on the arrival of our newest family members and I know that our cat Delilah is counting down the days! I will most definitely post pictures when the babies come!

Party over

Well now that I can put my feet up and relax! Saturday I had about thirty five people at my small house, (I used to think that it was big) running, eating, crying, pushing, talking! It was great!
On a brighter note I am excited about the fact that my mother gets to go in to the doctor on the third and see what it’s going to take to get her back up and running! I think that we would all take walking though. ;)
I am not sure if I mentioned the fact that I have a pregnant cat living with me. Every time I look at her I think to myself “Would you like a back rub, maybe some warm milk" she looks like she would love to go jump of a cliff. She just lies around and tries her best not to bite Kaitlynn when she comes to pull on her fluffy tail. MOM I LOVE YOU! I can’t believe that you did it seven times! For all of you weak women out there I say "GO CRY IN YOUR PILLOW." If you think you have it hard with three or even two kids I will give you my moms phone number and you can have a chat with her. I always remember a clean house and lots of good things to eat. Mom I still think you should write a book!
It drives me nuts when I hear some of my friends at work talk about how hard it is to take care of their two kids and work. I think to myself "Suck it up you wimp" my mom cooked, cleaned, taught, traveled all over the place, smiled when she did not want to, put up with seven brat kids, should I keep going???? Yeah I will stop! I guess I am just in the mood to praise my mom!
